Unattainable

Your love for me is so unattainable

You reveal it's fullness, but it is far beyond my human understanding

I know that I do not deserve a love so non-judgmental, so non-critical, so patient and so gentle

You say "I love you," and I say that I know. But do I know? 

Can I ever truly understand the heights, the depths or the width of the love that you have?

Perfect love cast out all fear

I can't be afraid to live, to love

Your love for me is so strong, so perfect

You would never allow any true harm to come to me

The lessons that I learn are hard, but aren't harmful

I will live as one who will always trust in Your love

I need you
Where can I find Your Love?
Why can't I feel Your presence?
I want more of You
I need more of You
I can't function without you
You are my addiction
You are my only life force
If I am lost, come find me
Don't let me go

" ...I will never leave you. I will never forsake you" Hebrews 13:5

Then where are you?
If you are here, then why can't I feel You anymore?
What have I done to push You away?
Am I where You want me, or have I left Your side?
Without You connected to me I will surely die
You and You alone are my source of life

"Call out to me. I will answer you..." Jeremiah 33:3

Jesus! Jesus!
I need You!
I know You love me
I know You are with me
I just want to feel Your presence
I am dependent on Your Love

"I will praise the Lord with my mouth. Let every creature praise his holy name for ever and ever. " Psalm 145:21

I will worship You
I will praise You all day
I will remind myself of Your many blessings
I will meditate on Your love
I will praise You
I will praise You
You and You alone will I worship
You and You alone will I serve

YOU Jesus and You alone are God
You alone

"You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart"

I need You
I want You
I seek You
I call out to You
and every single time You come down and rescue me
when I was in torment You broke me loose
there is nothing that can not be conquered by Your mighty power
Your love is your driving force

Who am I that You would rescue me?
Who am I that You would lift Your Holy hand to save?
Who am I that You would turn Your ear to me?
Your love has bound You to me
I am completely Yours

" I am absolutely sure that not even death or life can separate us from God’s love. Not even angels or demons, the present or the future, or any powers can separate us. Not even the highest places or the lowest, or anything else in all creation can separate us. Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done." Romans 8:38-39

Why did I wait so long to call to You?
You have been waiting for me to ask for Your help
I am too weak to fight the many battles alone
As long as You are with me I will defeat them
But alone I am destroyed
I am overwhelmed with gratitude
I am glad I have You, Oh Lord

I am conquered by Your love
I am overcome 
I can not express how much I desperately depend on Your love
it reaches inside of me and saves my soul
it carries me away from the depths of hell
it rescues me from my unseen enemies and conquers them
I am eternally indebted to Your love

Who will seek me out to save me?
Who will hear my cry and turn their head, and run to my aid?
Who will carry me when I can not walk?
Who will see my hurt and bandage my wounds?
Who can I call on?
Who can I CRY out to?
ONLY YOU

You are my hero

Your love pours in
it pours in like a river overflowing
help me embrace it
help me no longer run
for I am empty without it
without all Your love I will truly be destroyed

No matter where I am
even if I am surrounded
as long as YOU are there with me
I am safe
